Top of the list, and a must for the serious golfer, is the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club. Set in the beautiful countryside of Mount Catur (2098m above sea level), this 18-hole course is a world silver-medal golf resort. On the south-east coast you can choose between the Bali Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole course in Nusa Dua which hosted the 1994 Alfred Dunhill Asian Masters, or the 9-hole course at the Grand Bali Beach Hotel, Sanur. Nirwana Bali Golf Club sets on the Southwest coast of Bali, 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Nirwana Bali Golf Club offers a spectacular Greg Norman designed championship golf course that will challenge players of all skill levels.

Bali Handara Kosaido is the oldest golf course in Bali as well as Indonesia. This is the only golf course in Asia with its location set in extinct volcano. In thelush highlands to the northwest of Bali, at an altitude of 1142 metres above sea level, within an average temperature of 16 to 20 degrees Celsius,the club is blessed with the perfect climate for a round of golf on this beautiful tropical island.

The Grand Bali Beach is a 9-hole course (par 36) and part of the The Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur is a flat course, with tight tree lined fairways and small well protected greens, making accuracy essential. The course is not championship standard and caters for golfers on a tighter budget. Caddies are available, however, there are no golf carts.
